I?ve been working on a web site for several months and I?m about to launch it in July 2008.
Here?s a description of the site:
As we age, we forget details from our past. Miijii helps you recall and journal your past using virtual scrapbook pages. Through social networking, you can build your own autobiography with the assistance of friends, family, and acquaintances.
The site will jog your memory by asking you questions like ?When were you born??, ?Who was your first kiss??, ?Where were you when the Twi n Towers fell??, ?What does the song ?Footloose? remind you of??, ?What is your earliest childhood memory??.
As you answer these questions, it builds a timeline of your life on the right-hand side of the screen. Each event that you enter is represented as a page in a scrapbook. Think of it as retroactive journaling. You can upload photos to each page in the scrapbook. You can also add text and drag-n-drop these items to decorate each scrapbook page.
You can invite and collaborate with other people on each event. Each event has four privacy settings : Private ? only you can view it Shared Private ? only you and the people you invite to collaborate can view/edit it Shared Public ? if everyone involved agrees to make it public, then it?s public Public- the whole Internet can see it
