Thanks in advance for any help. I have made a headboard/wall sham for a double bed in a guest room. Basically just made a giant pillowcase for
2 euro pillows and sewed down the center to keep them in place. I would like to hang this on the wall behind the bed so it can come off when it needs to. Every time I try to make ties they turn out horrible so I was going to use ribbon.(I am out of the fabric anyway so it's a given on this project, unless it won't work with ribbon) I'm thinking wood knobs like that open cabinets for hangers. But I am concerned those will not stick out far enough and the whole thing will be very out of balance. It's about 52 inches wide in total.How wide a ribbon? Also how many ties/hangers should I use? How and where should I put the ties?
