Dry milk

I know this should be used when one is useing the timer on a bread machine. None of my recipes that came with this unit that offers plain milk in their recipes mention that it could be replaced with dry milk, except for that one page and the timer. Can dry milk be used in place of milk during the normal procedure? If so, what is the ratio? Thanks

If you look on the box of milk powder, it will tell you how much powder is needed for a cup of milk. You can do the math for your recipe.

You'll need to add water to compensate for the liquid in the milk.

The amount of dry milk+water needed to replace fluid milk can be figured by reading the box of dry milk. It will give you proportions for reconstituting the dry milk.
