Flitch Cakes ???

My husband has a recollection of his Aunt making "Flitch Cakes". This is a "stuffed bread" containing ham, bacon, onion. Can't seem to find anything. Anyone have any knowledge of such a thing ?

thanks ...Kristina

A flitch is a side of bacon, so that would explain the name. Don't have a recipe for you. Why not just make a nice bread and stuff with the ingredients you mentioned?
