My wife loves the heavy greasy super sweet frosting that comes on store bought cakes. I think it is just powdered sugar and crisco? If anyone has a recipe for this type of icing I would greatly appreciate it.

i believe wilton has a recipe that's something like 1 cup vegetable shortening, 1 lb powdered sugar (one box), 1 tablespoon meringue powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons butter or vanilla flavoring, which ever you prefer.
