Looking for an old refrigerator cookie recipe that my mother used years ago.
The cookie dough resembled a shortbread type taste and the only thing you put in were walnuts. Then you made a long roll, wrapped it and put it in the refrig over night, after frozen you unwrapped and sliced in 1/2 inch slices and baked. The original recipe has been lost. The closest thing store bought are Archway walnut refrig cookies but they are more cakey than the ones I am looking for.
