That is a beautiful set! I love the colors. I love that shape too. Are those hand-shaped or did you use a press? Either way they are awesome.

That's impressive because I am having such a hard time with shaping. Of course I've only been doing lampworking for a month but still... I'm torn between wanting to make things easier by using presses and taking the time to learn to do it by hand. I know which is better but ugh! Especially on a Hot Head. Your bead shaping skills are excellent.

Just an observation here from a long-time bead maker and relative press newbie.....concentrate on your hand shaping! Presses help, but you still need to have a balanced mass of glass to begin with...a wonky start will stay wonky even with a press.

Keep at it, you're doing great!

Thanks Karen, I appreciate the encouragement. There's no spare cash in the fund for presses right now anyway so I'll be hand-shaping anyway!
