Seems here in Arlington, the law is no flame producing devices allowed in apts, including my torch,charcoal grills, and propane grills. The Arlington fire dept only has to ask the property manager to open your place and they can go thru it at will.
If caught, eviction to start with, lose the offending item, and a $1000 fine.
It could be a brand new grill, never used and just put in the apt storage area, and it's not allowed.
Starting to find I don't like texas, and this sucks even more because I just picked up a grand worth of dicro sheet for fusing.
But there is a slight upside, we have traders village and it avrages 84,000 people a weekend and an enclosed booth is only $275 a month, thats for a 15 by 25 secure area.
just have to get the bankruptcy out of the way first.
