? Gift Boxes where to buy

I have been making some beaded necklaces and have a nice selection built up and I'm planning on going to a craft show the begining of December. I'd like to display them in gift boxes and I think it must makes it nicer for the buy to take them home that way. I'm wondering where the best place is to buy jewerly gift boxes, you know the ones with the cotton insert? I've looked at a couple places on line and the prices vary widely at some of them.

Thank you Celeste

Nile Corp has a great buy on a huge box of various sizes. Good prices on displays and photography props, too.

You might try Uline.com, which ships practically overnight, or papermart.com, which is where I get my boxes and bags.

I really like Lotta Displays on ebay - they have cute boxes and really good prices. Shipping can be somewhat slow sometimes, but other than that, they're great. :)

Hi Celeste,

Just a thought about boxes. Sometimes they remind me of coffins. I've seen shops where there's a whole pile of these boxes, and they just look life-less. Especially since they get dusty pretty fast. I think it looks better to put things in ribbed trays, with a few things featured on displays. Just looks fresher and flows better.

If you do use boxes, may I suggest a rich matte color. White looks lifeless. Silver looks tinselly and is easily marred. Maybe burgundy or teal or navy. Though I like the duller "craft paper" better because it's neutral.

I have bought from Nile and like their boxes, great prices, too. I did find they were a little slow to ship, however. If you have a tight deadline, this is something to keep in mind.

I usually use the brown craft paper boxes because I can embellish them with rubber stamps, etc. for a more personalized look.
