I'm trying to finish a necklace here. All I have left to do is make a wire cage for a focal. BUT....all I have is 24 gauge gold-filled wire.
Will the cage be strong enough for the focal using this gauge? The focal is very light but I wonder if 24g will hold up to wear.
Maybe I should just forget the wire cage and make fringe with seed beads instead. I really want to finish this tonight.
