I'm gonna be the lone dissenting voice here, but as much as I enjoy Wendy's work, the peacock just doesn't do it for me. I can really appreciate the time/work/energy that went into it, but it's just not my thing.

I'm bothered by the brown edge and back side. Too much like a turkey. And yes, I too admire her work.

Actually, you don't have to be alone. As you all know, I am terribly afraid of birds and the idea of actually wearing one squicks me out. I am impressed with the talent and the incredible amount of work, but I wouldn't ever want the bead.

The Corgi bead, OTOH - well, that would be another matter. What a pity I haven't seen a Cairn Terrier bead. I'd be willing to pay some big money for a bead that looked like Sophie. :-)

Ob. Random Thought: It's the middle of the night, and I'm up watching COPS. They're trying to talk out some guy who has barricaded himself in his home. I wonder - how did they know he was barricaded? I'm in the house all the time, and it would take a year before anyone knew that I was barricaded inside. (Maybe the Diet Coke people would report the sharp drop in sales) Even if I waved a gun out the window, our neighbors are so elderly that they'd never see it. Sigh. Another career plan down the tubes.

All you have to do is ask -- I've seen them either by Wendy - or the other gal that does dogs (whose name escapes me right now)

Thats what I thought too... too klunky to be a peacock. Id love to see a less literal interpetation of a peacock in glass... Diana

Mavis does awesome dogs, too. I have one of her poodles and a Jack Russell terrier.

Isn't COPS great? Watching it makes me feel like my life is so simple and wonderful. My husband hates that show. I like it and have to laugh at how incredibly stupid some people are. I know - it's sad and pathetic.
