Does anyone here makes hearts like these?

Ooooh way cool! I can see how it's done easy enough. One of those BIG mandrels (Tink, don't you have some???), pretty simple wrap like making a disk, some shaping, some dots, voila!

Yep. I was just going to say that. LOL! They make for a VERY cool focal bead, for sure. The last one I did was dark red with shiny gold dots. They're fun to do, too!

They don't look hard to make. I'll go give it a try since I have some huge mandrels that are ready.

That whole set is way cool but I just love the heart! Believe it or not I have a drawing that matches it. :=))

Ok. Just did one and popped it in the kiln... And a big square one. And a monkey. And a penguin. Can you tell I'm gearing up for the Sharon Peters demo? LOL!

Any chance you have one or two hiding in the back of your infamous bead drawer? I have a memory like a sieve but some things I never forget Tink! LOL

Cool! Good luck with it and let me know sweetie. weeeee

StinkieTinkie? Have you been smoking too much again?

Oooo...can't wait to see what you've been up to, animals? Have you ever done those before? Sharon Peters, lucky you?

Did you really just make a heart????????

I didn't mean this as a question. I'm high on too much caffeine this morning and fingers can't keep up. lol

I really like the tiny dots though once upon a time I couldn't abide them.

I don't care for the dots but on the heart I do like them.

LOL! Yeah... It all started with duckies waaaay back when I started lampworking. Remember those, you guys? I still do them when I think of it. I love sculptural lampworking!

Yep, I just popped a heart in the kiln. I was trying to decide where to start today when I read your original post. It's always the first piece of the day that flummoxes me. After that, I'm good to go. I did two, actually, using a different type mandrel for the second one. It's an experiment I'd been meaning to try anyway, and this was the perfect opportunity!

MMM.....that's my favorite jello!

Well, I've seen your goddess.....

Weeeeeeeee!! Do I get dibs?

Margie

Of course you get dibs... If I deem it "dib worthy". Much of what I make never sees the light of day. But I had a good feeling about everything that went in the kiln this morning.
