Excuse me? Do you treat all your board members this way? If you have a personal problem with me... take it up with me. Eni is a good artist but she did not come up with any of her techniques either. What's your beef.

First off, you post multiple messages without the courtesy of putting AD in your adverts, and we've seen enough of them that they're coming close to SPAM. If you really want some lessons in netiquette, go over to rec.crafts.glass and post your ads there. I'm sure they'll happily give you some pointers.

If I want to mention another artist, I will. I feel her techniques are superb and I also think that she has the class to not broadcast her wares in multiple postings that should all have AD in them. I have purchased from you and Eni both and if you want a blow-by-blow comparison, I'll be happy to post one from a consumer standpoint but you might not like it.

Don't forget, thousands of people read these messages, thousands who don't post but do get their impressions of the people here from the way they behave. It's not a 'board', it's a newsgroup and I treat people the way I feel they deserve. If they respect the participants by not spamming adverts then they get respect.

Matthew -- we are one of the few groups that allows ads at ALL on Google. In order to placate those who hate the ads, we ask that all ads be marked as such.

If this is your first time here you could not be expected to know better.

Thank you.

Hey Su.... I was mainly aiming my post towards Dr. Sooz. I usually don't post here and didn't know that I was spose to put AD: in my subject line. I will do so in the future. Eni is a good artist... I agree.

Generally it's considered good practice to read through a group, post some introductory messages, get to know people and become part of the newsgroup before posting ads, that way you'd know if they were acceptable or not and how to do them.

This is aimed mostly towards you, no, actually it's all aimed at you. It was pretty easy to tell what you had to say to me, and your tone was not what I'd consider either friendly or reasonable for someone new to a group, any group.

He sent me an email, too. Which I answered.

Here are threads you started on Usenet, Matthew.

In fact, these are 7 out of a total of 12 posts you've made on Usenet. This makes you look like a spammer. When things are so easy to look up, you really shouldn't protest so much. It calls attention to your feet of clay.

I would at this juncture point out that as you do not post to this newsgroup other than to advertise, you are not a member, you are a junkmailer.

But see, Matthew, you pissed her off. That's what happens when you get off on the wrong foot here.

At another newsgroup they might've cut off your tender parts, roasted them over a fire, fed them to you, and thrown you off a cliff. Most newsgroups are like that. But we're nice (albeit fierce) here. Stick around -- you'll see. We might be fierce > Apparently... you did not read my apology...

Hey Matt, stick around, you got off alot easyer then some of the people around here. The Ladies and gents of the group are very protective and cut first then ask questions. Think of it as a learnibg exp making a bead, you just picked up the hot end of the mandrel! LOL

Jim Redden J.Redden Design ( maybe a name change TEXAS SUCKS BEADS) just joking.

Beadgasms for all.

Never piss off a woman with a hot mandrel she might turn your ass into a kiln!

No, I had not yet, when I posted that. And apparently, you did not read my reply to your apology, so we are both "guilty" of the same thing, which is reading (and replying to) posts sequentially.

I wasn't even pissed, LOL! Just pointing out the fallacy in his assumption that he had participated enough to be considered a "member" when he posted that.
