Wow, thanks for the link. I wish I would have heard the report on NPR. It is hard to fathom that many years ago for me and that beads were a part of that. I guess it is true, whatever was old is new again. :D

Just think about this, the ancestor who thought this up shows them off to the others, they are in awe and of course want one for themselves.........not much different than today, except you ladies aren't all hairy and smelly ....wish I could say the same for me!!!
Whenever you can look at something you do and it's place in history I think it makes your favorite past time that much more enjoyable.
