Nope, just forceful. BTW, I got to spend Dh's pay raise on clay this evening! AND Varathane, and tools, and now I'm looking at my not-made-by-Candace beads and freaking out, cause I know they feel all abandoned. I tried to explain to them that I just need some time to explore other beady/creative avenues, but my stinking seed beads are putting up a serious fuss. Then I threatened to put them IN the polyclay, and they hushed up right quick. HA!

Nice work, Candace! Stamping in clay is FUN! And just wait 'til you try photocopy transfers.

I made a faux ivory loaf of clay, sliced off two slices, and transferred my name (in Chinese) onto the clay. I made earrings out of them. At a recent family gathering (and I haven't seen these people in YEARRRRRRS), I was asked if:

1) they were ivory; 2) they were Mahjongg tiles.

Cheers, Sharon

Next time you go to the dentist, ask him for some discarded tools. They discard all kinds of metal tools that you can use with clay!

Not yet. I do have a hot pot. I haven't been making much stuff in any genre lately, just scouring my house top to bottom -- not cleaning, more like a makeover of all my possessions. Like a high colonic. Yup -- that's more what I'm doing, a house-colonic. But I love those dental tools! I took them to PMC class once, and everyone was borrowing them all day. All dentists have them. They go through tools very fast -- drop them once, and they're not good for teeth anymore. They lose their perfect pitch. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Because she rarely writes about it. Sooz took a couple of classes, loved the medium, but she hasn't been doing a whole lot of projects (that I know about) because of pain and house issues.
