Question re: beadinggroup invitation

I received an email to join the beadinggroup group. I don't know what that is, and I won't open the email because it's from someone I may not know, and it contains a picture (or something). So it could have a virus -- or a worm -- or something.

Did someone here send me this email? Could you perhaps re-send it to me without graphics or whatever is making my red alert go off?

Thanks. I get a lot of mail like this -- be aware that I will always delete it without opening it. (That includes for background graphics, etc. on your email.) I do not necessarily immediately recognize all of the email addresses from everyone here. (Especially since many of you use a different email address for RCB)

Background graphics and decorations are cute, but they get in the way of communication. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

I got the same thing and held off. the picture is just the Yahoo logo. I too was thinking someone from RCB sent it but I want to know more before I sign up. It's not like I need one more thing to read but.............

It's an alleged wholesaler who has an announce only group and not anything, in my opinion, worth your time. Took a look at the website, and ....

Boy do I ever agree with this.....sometimes I delete email for the same reason, just because I've gotten viruses this way. It's best to just send text unless it's expected or I know the person or recognize the subject of the email. I've never heard of beadinggroup.

I got one too - it's not a worm, it's legit. They are a bead seller and they're trolling for customers.

I checked out their web site - prices aren't bad, but I can get better through the bulk buying groups.

It is a Yahoo group-- sounds like a "bulk buy" type group, although according to the notice, it isn't limited to beads. I think the "picture" was just the "letterhead" or whatever it's called, that Yahoo sends the announcements on. Kaytee "Simplexities" on
