Re: Women Beyond Borders - OT

Just a thought. All colleges and community colleges have places you can post jobs for the students. An art student may be just the ticket. They are used to working for peanuts, would love to learn something in their field and are young and healthy. And Lord knows the schools generally teach them nothing about the business side of art. You would be doing them a service. Heck, some schools would consider an "apprenticeship" a learning experience that might translate into credit hours for that person. What a deal. That would be AWESOME if I could find someone like that! I'll call one of the two local art colleges; thanks for the idea! It would be really great if whoever I found was getting credits toward their education for hanging out in my studio cleaning bead holes.

And the more hours someone else cleans my beads and suchlike, the fewer hours I would need a nanny. Though, I think I have one lined up! My best friend has offered, and she is a miracle with kids. I could hand Ophelia over to her for a few hours, a few days a week, while the older kids were in school/preschool, and that will work great!
