I've seen hanks of beads like this:
they're sold by the hank or tube usually. $3 is a good price for a hank, that's what I pay at my LBS.
I guess i should have mentioned...yes, the picture is of a hank, and you'd get the whole thing.
Yes, you get ALL those beads. That's what a hank is. Just be prepared to do a little bit of culling (this is why I went away from czech beads and onto the japanese seeds) This is the type of seed beads traditionally used in american indian beadwork. They're rounder than the japanese (delica's are even more tile-like), great for fringe and a good all around starter bead. Also used for flower making (all the stringing for that is easier because they're already strung, you just have to transfer them vs stringing them indiviually) Any more questions?

Nope - I prefer Japanese but could use Czech in a pinch.
See, now you know! And that was kind of a "to everybody" answer. Trying to be helpful. And not assuming you know just because I do.

And there is no such thing as a stupid (bead) question! You're probably NOT the only one that wasn't sure. So there.

Probably not but since no one else was going to ask...........
Triumphant ha ha! When you ask a question like this you show how smart you are. It is only the truly smart who are capable of recognizing when they are ignorant and who strive to educate themselves. The stupid person never even notices the large L on their forehead. Pat yourself on the back for becoming less ignorant. And, thanks for asking. I didnt know either. :-) Diana

It was actually a *VERY* good question--because there are sellers on eBay that give a picture of the whole hank, but are only selling 2 or 3 strands!
True! Some of the small semi-precious rounds, they wrap all the strands together in that hank style and the small print says you only get ONE strand.
