Hi all - I'm very excited to announce the upcoming Aurora Borealis Fireflies all lampwork bead show "Drawn to the Flame". It will open this weekend at the Alberta Craft Council in Edmonton, Canada featuring lampworked glass beads from over 20 artists, with over 1000 beads on display, either as beads, made into jewelry or embellishing other objects. I haven't seen all the submissions, but the folks who have say there is an amazing array of work. The show is on for 6 weeks, so if anyone reading this is going to be in Edmonton during that time, please consider this your invitation to the show. We'll be doing demos on Saturday afternoons in November, as well as a morning TV spot, and (perhaps) a fashion layout in the local newspaper using some of the pieces from the show.
