I have been looking at some of the designs that I presume are to replace the hand quilting portion of the quilting process, however I can't find any information on the procedure for using these designs effectively. Has anyone ever used these designs on a quilt? Can you tell me how to proceed? Do I quilt all three layers square by square or can the entire quilt be embroidered without too many problems? (Small lap quilt for the VA Hosp project my group has been working on). I am guessing I need to use Solvy in the hoop. All hints, tips and tricks would be appreciated. I need to know this is viable before spending money on any designs.
