Hi everyone! I hope someone on this forum can help me out I have and older single head Barudan Beat IV embroidery machine which has an FDR-V Floppy Reader. Does anyone know if I can purchase a cable and/or hardware that can connect my PC straight to my Barudan machine. Could you tell me where I could purchase this from and how much it will cost me. Also instructions on how to connect would be very useful. I would like to eliminate the use of floppies in the FDR reader. At present I am running Windows XP on my PC. Looking forward to any replies that may help me. Rockey.

Contact 'Wilcom' in your local area. They provide a hardware/software solution to connect your old machine. You'll either need a 'DCi' or a 'Parallel Connect Cable' to connect the embroidery machine directly to a PC. And compatable software to upload designs, eg: ES-Designer.
