Bernina 180 problem

Hi all, Need to know if I have the only lemon on the tree. :-(

Since the machine was new I've had problems with the tension, seems to be intermittent, not holding a consistant setting. Had it back to the shop several times, the repair guy is tearing his hair out trying to fix it. Another problem was, on a straight stitch, it would sew a small irregular zigzag, this turned out to be the main circuit board which bernina replaced. The tension problem is still there, does any of this sound familiar ?

I have a 180 and love it. I bought it "gently used", so I don't know if it had any initial problems. I do know that when I had my 160 the tension needed a bit of adjustment, but then it was fine. Sound like you got a lemon. Have them replace it with a new one.

Thanks, This was what I was shooting for. The dealer is very cooperative and says if he can't get it resolved he'll send it back.
