I just wanted to comment that I have bought and tried Embroidery Magic II software. It was horrible. Very difficult to use, can't import a vector for conversion. You basically have to hand draw/trace the item you want, but without all the drawing tools offered in even a basic computer drawing package. Also very difficult to edit the embroidery designs. It is OK for sizing, mirroring and that is about it.

------------------------------------- SRT I know your message is 3 yrs. old but I wanted to hear what you had to say about using it; I purchased the same one. Not only did I not get everything I was supposed to receive, I can't believe how poorly the instruction book is written. I have had it for several months and I am just now trying to get through it. What did you ever do with it? I bought it to do small lettering & import images already digitized to put with the lettering. I think that was my first mistake. Hope you are still active with this site. Thanks

I completely understand — Embroidery Magic II can be tough for detailed edits or vector imports. From my experience, using modern digitizing tools or working with a service that focuses on clean stitch paths really makes a difference, especially for small lettering or complex designs.
At Impact Digitizing, we’ve spent years refining digitizing for different fabrics and machines, making sure designs sew smoothly with minimal jumps. Even simple tweaks like stitch flow optimization can save a lot of production time. Sharing tips like this is what makes forums so useful!
