Free embroidery digitizing software (i am looking for)

You can download a 30 day (or 100 use) trial version of Embird. When you open the .pes file in Embird, right click on the opened file, then Export Image (near the bottom), a 'Save As' window will open and you can select .jpg (bottom left corner) and save it to a folder of your choice.

I don't think you will find any free programs but Embird does not require a dongle to work and in my opinion is a very good program. You can put in a search for Embird lessons and through them get a very good idea of how the program works. You can also download a 30 day free trial (which is nice).
