Newbie Deco 650 user -- questions -- please help!

Hello! I just found this newsgroup, and I am a **very** new machine embroiderer.



I have a Deco 650, and I just read in one of the older threads that although it is a Bernina machine, it is made by Brother. Is this correct? And if so, can I use some of the Brother cards I see at Wal Mart and other retailers in my Deco 650? I know I need a .pes format, and I have a magic box on order.



Also, does anyone have an internet source for bobbins to fit the Deco



650?

Hi, I have a Deco 650 and I believe that brother cards do fit the 650. As far as bobbins the pre wound ones with sides are the best. I believe the size is "L". Ziegler Embroidery supply (Not affiliated at all) is a great supplier. You also might look on Ebay. I have bought from there too. Ask any questions, people are more that happy to answer. Nana
