I checked the archives, but still am not sure I've got the answer to my questions. I bought the Brother PE150 after lots of research. Since I use a Mac I wanted to find software that I could use and read/write box.
I settled on the Ultimate Box because Vikant promised it could be used with a Mac and Virtual PC. Then I thought I'd buy Embird (they also said it would work) because Brother says you can't use their software with a Mac.
My friend, also using a Mac and VPC, downloaded the demo version of Embird 2003 and it won't work. Embird says 2003 won't run on the Mac. So now what?
I have BuzzTools, but I'd like to be able to do some digitizing. The new version of BuzzEdit won't work on Macs.
Has anyone used Windows software on a Mac and have it work. If PE-Design actually will run in VPC, I'd be tempted to shell out the money for that.
Also, has anyone every gotten the Ultimate Box to read a card. If so, what cards can it read?
