Online source for Madeira threads

Nov 14, 2003 4 Replies

I'm looking for an online source for Madeira threads, preferably in Europe, because of the shipping costs. I'm not looking for the 40wt rayon, I can buy that everywhere. I'm looking for 60wt. rayon, or

30wt. Tanne. I used to buy at Barnyarns, but they appear not to be in business anymore. TIA, Sylvia

Sylvia,

I've just checked and their website is running and up to date

formatting link
and I'm sure they will be at theKnitting and Stitching show at Harrogate next week. You can also order acopy of the catalogue from the website, free to customers in the UK.Hope this helps Amanda Nottingham, England

Hi Amanda,

thanks for you answer. I know their website is up and runn>Sylvia,

Replied to you personally but it bounced (as mine would) so here is my reply

Do you want me to grill them when I'm at Harrogate, not good if they don't reply, especially as they are part of Madeira. I'll also try and remember who else sells the rayon 60, sure one of the lace suppliers does.

Cheers Amanda

Amanda,

that would be great. I really was very content with their service, until now, of course. I live in Holland, so I can't go myself. If you want to contact me, use this: snipped-for-privacy@xs4all.nl

Sylvia
