Would a Propane/Oxy, or MAPP / Oxy mix be the best for fusing glass and making beads / nuggets, etc ? (I'm assuming Oxy / Ace would be too hot and a bit dirty ?)
What make / model burner (not sure of the proper term...) would be compatible and safe ?
TIA,
/MM

I use propane / oxy with a Minor burner torch for beads. I also have the hoses tee off to use a Carlisle CC for boro and larger scale work.
"Fusing" to make shapes and patterns and then slump, drape, or mold is generally done in a kiln and not with a torch.
For propane, I have a large tank mounted outside a garage that is pressure reduced and piped in. For Oxygen, I rent 250 cu ft bottles from a welding store. That gives a longer time between changing bottles and not get "part way" into making a piece and run out of O2 or Propane. ( I HATE when that happens.)
