Arran sweater, a slight miscalculation? (2025 Update)

I would have thought she would have realized as she knitted, early on too. Clearly too much pub time lol
That looks like the Aran sweater I knit. I should have realized when I ran out of wool and had to buy more. I would have fit John Candy.
I finally bit the bullet and took it apart. The wool ended up in mitts and hats. It was too scratchy for scarves.
