Call for Finished Stitcheries

Since Naomah's busy with the details of opening the shop, I'll act as her PR agent.

The current owners are taking the models with them, so until she can get time to stitch up some things for her walls, she's looking to borrow some stitcheries. Preferably stuff that's not OOP.

So if all of you lovelies would contemplate what you might have sitting around that you could bring yourself to part with for a couple months or more. (Say, those out-of-season Christmas things.)

If you are a designer, or know one personally, maybe there are some "last year's models" that you could offer her on a longer-term loan.

I can email her; however, I assume she needs them framed. I have a couple at the framer right now; one is a RK Portfolio Eagle the other an Elizabeth Designs Winter. I think there was something else, but don't remember.

Unframed I have just finished Crossed Wings little Chickadee; the one they sell with the green-dyed fabric.

I guess if they are taken to someplace like the UPS store, they can ship safely. I have several others I could happily lend.

I know, replying twice isn't too cool. However, when I go to the LNS to pick up my stuff I will see if one of our local girls would be willing to send some pieces to Naomah. My LNS owner has "launched" several designers at nashville etc. RKPortfolio is one if hers, and she has lovely stuff; we have Glendon stuff too. There is a local designer, lives about a mile from me, and she and her daughters design. They were featured in one of the big mags last year. I will see what I can do.

Oh, yes, PLEASE!

That was me talking as me, rather than as Naomah's mouthpiece -- I have two of the Glendon Place pieces (3 Kings from last year and Nativity from this year) that I was going to rush through to loan her before I need them back (one is a gift), but if we can get the designer to loan her these big, complex pieces, I can focus on churning out a few smaller/faster pieces for semi-permanent loan, and take my time on the Glendon pieces, so long as they're done by Christmas.
