On Tuesday, my EGA group went on a field trip to a LNS that's about an hour away. My current best friend lives nearby so I visit the shop fequently but I went along for the ride. While browsing the offerings, I came across something that made my heart pound -- it was a real AHHAAH (or however that's spelled) moment.
The chart didn't interest me but the finishing did. Fawn, the shop assistant, very carefully opened the baggie to see if the instructions were included. If they had been, I would've bought it but they weren't so I quickly sketched a picture and carefully copied the web site address.
On the way home, I got a call from Vernie who told me that my crewel tile monks cloth afghan (sp??) was ready for pick up at the fabric shop. It was perfect timing -- I would get the 'quilt' and select coordinating fabric for my soon to be favo(u)rite finishing operation.
