Information on Ñanduti lace

Does anyone have information about Ñanduti lace from Paraguay? It's a delicate spider-web fabric of different designs woven with a needle.

Hi Bruce - were you after anything specific? Friends of mine have visited Paraguay and brought back various samples of this lace which is strikingly similar to Teneriffe lace.

Nothing specific, just a bit more information about how the stuff is made. I've been asked to give the address during a service in our kirk for the World Day of Prayer on Fri 2 March; the service has been produced by women of Paraguay using Ñanduti lace as a symbol and I was seeking a bit of background information.
