Thank you everyone -- I have no idea what DH will be giving me for my b-day but I gave myself a bit of a little gift today. For my b-day fun, I spent the day running errands AND went to the Pet Smart to look at babies :-). There were two babies that I am interested in. The first is a very nice 3 y.o. dilute calico that smiled at MOI and the other is a 1 y.o. tortie who slept the whole time I was looking. I also went by the Baby Dr. to see if they knew of anyone with an adult kitty who needs a good home. Tomorrow I will try to find the Humane Society and see what flavour adult kitties they might have available for adoption. We have the inside decorations about 99% put away so this weekend should be a great time to get a new baby. Besides, I REALLY need a new baby to love on. Cassie (Baby Cat) is not terribly affectionate -- loves to sit on my lap but isn't all that interested in being held and loved on. She's the "If you adore me, you may pet me" type of kitty -- LOL. I'm hoping to find a kitty who likes to be held a bit but I'll take whichever kitty "speaks" to MOI. Right now, it's looking like that dilute calico but I haven't actually gotten to pet her -- just seen her behind the glass wall at Pet Smart. Needless to say, I will post and let you all know when I do get a new baby. And YES, I will post photos ASAP after bringing the new baby home. Thanks again for the b-day wishes :-))).
