I like lobsters that are about 2 pounds in size. I also prefer those caught on the east or south shore. To me, the north shore lobsters seem to lack flavor......but on the other hand I'd never refuse any offered from there! :) Probably water temperature is a factor in the flavor.

You could be right about that, fish from tropical waters never have the flavour of North Atlantic fish, think salmon, mackerel and herring.
The ones we had on Sunday were ok, not quite as sweet as the first of the summer or from colder waters... C
