As I said before, I have Sender blocked but today I received not one, but two invites from this damned woman at Linkedln. Karen, I suggest you tell her if she can't cure it - it is time she got a new computer and kept it free from infection. It passed the Blocked because the Sender has a few altered letters now so it can skip past Blocks.
The very least she should do is go to trendmicro.com and take advantage of the free power scan by them.
I got one, and labelled it junkmail. Don't know if it will block it, but worth a try.

Well, we did "know" her here on rctn many years ago. I remember she would design some things. I probably responded to a post a time or two...and that is how I got in her address book.
I DO use FB, but my friends are either family members (good way to keep tabs on grandkids) or personal friends, most of whom I have met. There are a few rctn folk I haven't met, but maybe will someday.

What irritates me about it is where else is my address going courtesy of this idiot ? I don't understand this 'zillions of friends' - must be more of the FB stupidity, there is no single person who lives long enough to have 'zillions' of friends, not if they are friends who mean anything !
Just deleting doesn't mean your address is not being furthered.

Apparently when you join Facebook you have the option of allowing FB to send invites using your address book. That's why people who don't have a FB account are getting emails. I believe it will also allow the use of AIM contact lists. As for the changed email address she can change her address within FB so it will get around blocks which, as we all know, is a very common spammer technique.
You're probably right and I will heed Gillian and not give the gnat anymore attention lol
