Copy the picture and trace it on a paper with squares , [ the kind we use for math copybooks] trace the lines with a colored pencil , than use a regula pencil , to fill in the squares in the bounderies . remove the picture and try to `smooth the lines by adding or erasing some xs.... mirjam

This would be easy to do, and I am not worried about copyright. But you need to specify how big the pattern needs to be; in STITCHES. One dimension only is required. That is, how many STITCHES wide do you want the pattern to be? Jim.

Thanks for the correction on copyright, I realised after I clicked post that I had spelt it wrong. Blame it on to a 73 old senior moment. LOL Shirley

There are computer programs that are available to make a chart from a picture. I did a piece from a photo (old) of my great-great-great grandmother. I forget the name of the program. My DH did the computer work for me.

I'm checking in after a long absence....hi Trish, Jim and others.....Sharon in SW Ontario Canada

Thanks Marg, I've been out of the group for a few years and just last week started stitching again. Evil computer lured me away .......Sharon, near Chatham

Did you want all the picture with the sides or just the main logo in the middle? Also how big did you want to have the final picture?

FYI For the fun of it I converted the whole picture and just the logo. Using my copy of Easy Cross 2004 Enterprise only took 1-2 minutes with another to do the touch-ups. Because of the basic-ness of the logo I did it at 28 count, and at half the total count of the pic itself so 300 stitches across instead of the

600 pixels in the actual pic you linked to. It only required 8 colours, this is with shading variation as in the original pic.
