Slightly OT, poetic help needed

DNiece is getting married in September and has a shower coming up soon. My gift is that I paid for her Bridal Gown alterations. I want her to have something from me to open at the shower. I have found a bridal hankie that is folded on a form to look like a wedding gown. (complete with a wire hanger) I thought to put a threaded needle through it and design a card to put it in. So far I have:

"Pins and needles, stitches so fine" The bride is radiant, her gown divine.

I'm not sold on the second Line. Help gratefully accepted. Bobbie V.

PS Ironically, I actually worked on her gown at the shop, so I paid myself to do it. I'm too busy at work to do the gown at home, plus I don't have the heavy duty steamer at home.

Pins and needle with stitches so fine

Radiant bride in her gown divine

Hmm - what color is the gown - white, ivory??? Does it have some funky name, my sister's was "shining pearl" or something to that effect.

No, it's just white. She got it off the sale rack so she had to pay for alterations and the final press out. It was serendipitous that I ended up doing the alterations. It is a Maggie Sattero Couture gown though. Bobbie V.

Here's a thought:

Stitches and ribbons, beading and lace, A radiant bride with a smile on her face,

Summery scents, vases abloom, She floats down the aisle to stand by her groom,

Vows they will share through a lifetime of love, Till they wander the path up to Heaven above.

Deb :-)
