Stashy morning

I met T and her son TJ several years ago, just after they arrived from CA - through hockey and this year the boys were on the JV team together, so I got to know T a bit better. She's a beader and does glass work too.

So this AM - after a hellish day yesterday dealing with the basement and the incipient flood, I was going to meet T at a local breakfast spot. She called while I was getting DD off to the bus; she had to have a plumber come over to deal with her flood from the hot water heater. So, instead, I arrived at her house with cinnamon rolls and met her dogs (and eventually the plumber). {one is a Shepard retriever mix and quite loving. the other is standard dachshund and Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen and unknown mix - he'll make you smile to look at him - dachshund shape, PBGV coloring and coat and little cat like ears - a rescued dog}

So - there are beads every where - kitchen, living room, front stairs, family room, up stairs..... Her bead stash rivals my entire craft stash. Including charts. And we fondled a lot of it. She finds beads and bits in the usual stores, yard sales and antique stores. I have a few trade beads now, and a donut in a gorgeous shade of pale green stone...
