I have used Leather tools for this. You have to find a leather craft supply store near you and look for the letter sets. There are several sizes and fonts of letter sets. I have used these stamps to make words or names in a piece of slab clay and then attach it to the side of a mug or jar. (I.E. Harley Davidson or Sonny's Bike Shop, Garlic, Oregano, Basil ) I find that this is better than just pressing into the side of the mug with the stamp. There is less chance for the clay piece to be damaged or mis-shapen by the stamp than placing the slab with the stamped words or names on the side of the mug or jar. Russ
