Anyone recommend a reasonable spray gun for use with glazes and other thickish materials. There seems such a vast array of nozzle sizes / tips etc etc that it's truly baffling. Not for huge industrial use, just occasional studio pottery use in the UK.
Consider the Earlex Spray Station 3000. This is an HVLP unit (high volume low pressure), which comes complete with spray gun and compressor. Mine cost about £50 (as far as I remember), and I got it from B & Q.
I got my HVLP spaygun on ebay also the compressor. works very well. I would always get a spraygun that gravity feeds the glaze otherwise you may get some problems if the glaze has too high a viscosity.
