Run your virus scan -- mine picked up Trojan.Mailframe!html after I went to this site -- I didn't attempt to open any files just to the site.

Just a warning.. I have Norton AntiVirus and the instant I clicked on this link I got a HIGH risk catch. A Trojan virus is in one of these links on this page. :(

Yup, same thing here. They have this site loaded with crap to gather info on "All ye who enter here". Norton didn't allow anything to open and my Security Wall immediately blocked 7 "intruders". It set off all the bells and whistles on my Spyware as well. I hate when that happens.

beats the heck out of me that just by going to a site and not clicking anything there all that happened but i truely am ever so very very very very very very sorry if it attacked anyones computer. probly did attack mine and i've not realized the damage yet. considering i obviously dont have the same protection the rest of you have, as i didnt get any notice of problems while there, i shall have to stop posting any links for fear of the trouble it might cause anyone cuz i cant protect myself let alone anyone else. i'd hate for anyone else to have issues with anything because of something i did or didnt do as the case may be. proper etiquette and all that doncha know. no worrys. ennaej

I'm curious as to how to set up Norton so that it blocks things as soon as I go to an injected address. I was curious (that's what killed the cat you'd think I would learn) so I went to the site that Jeanne mentioned. Saw nothing suspicious, altho I didn't try to open any of the links. But then I manually did a virus scan with Norton and it picked up the maliframe trojan that you are all talking about. Now I'm a little spooked - how to tell if a site is infected or not? - I can't go running a virus scan after ever new site that I go to. Any ideas?

I'd like to know that too. What version of Norton are you running? I am running Norton Internet Security 2007 and it didn't give me any warnings. After the warnings here, I ran a complete scan and it didn't find anything; I had run Norton LiveUpdate last night, so I figured I was up to date there. I also ran an AdAware scan and that found 13 cookies that I deleted. I do have Norton set up to block ads, so it's possible that that helped.

Mine warned me that it had blocked the trojan also. The program I use is called Norton Protection Center. It's a little bit different program than just Norton Anti-Virus, or Norton Internet Security. I love it.

Somewhere there is a setting to allow for pop-up Alerts and yours are turned off. Mine is too because I didn't get any messages either. Debra in VA See my quilts at
