A little ray of sunshine has just come into my world in the shape of a girl.

I take it this is the first baby girl in the family for awhile?

I should know tomorrow if the next grandbaby here will be boy or girl.... We've had one of each so far this year, and we already know that two more will be boys.

I have to admit that I am partial to making stuff for the girls.

Thanks Marigold, This is the first 'grand' baby in my immediate family. My brother and his wife are so thrilled. The baby is named after a friend on my niece, and the Amanda name is after her sister who died in 1997.

I love making baby girl stuff as well and now have the reason to do all sorts of girly stuff.
