Hey, wait a minute! Pat!!!! ... oh, never mind... I thought you were talking about me, terribly expensive and not always co-operative... but I'm not neurotic about too much attention (I just go into another room and shut the door behind me).

The local fiber arts & animal fest is just a couple of weeks away:

LOL! As adorable as they are, I just don't know where I'd keep one - no exactly backyard pets! And what would my 2 mutts say? They do, however, have the most expressive eyes - like "doe eyes" (almost) - I'm always a sucker for a pretty face......... :-)

My friend over on the goth group who raises llamas said that she gave up on alpacas because they some of the most nasty ill tempered creatures she has ever met, and they are terribly fragile insofar as illness and injury.
