Fiber Arts & Animals Festival - Oct 3 & 4, 2009

Hello,

We are starting a new two-day Fiber Arts & Animals Festival in Marshall, Michigan on October 3 and 4, 2009. We are joining an already established one-day event that has attracted 3000 to 4000 people in the past. For us in 2009, they are expanding to a two-day event. We are looking for talented fiber artists and producers to join our festival. Our passion is fiber art. Our mission is fiber art education.

Would you be interested in attending as an exhibitor or learning more about our festival?

Regards, Rick Boesen

Hi Rick............ I have no interest in participating in your festival, but.......... I looked at the photos of your llamas on your web page. They are so darn cute!! Are they yours? Do you raise them? How many do you have?

Howdy!

Hey, wait a minute! Pat!!!! ... oh, never mind... I thought you were talking about me, terribly expensive and not always co-operative... but I'm not neurotic about too much attention (I just go into another room and shut the door behind me).

The local fiber arts & animal fest is just a couple of weeks away:

LOL! As adorable as they are, I just don't know where I'd keep one - no exactly backyard pets! And what would my 2 mutts say? They do, however, have the most expressive eyes - like "doe eyes" (almost) - I'm always a sucker for a pretty face......... :-)

Yes, and when they have you trapped into gazing into those beautiful eyes, whispering sweet nothings, they spit! And it isn't just saliva >g< They are camelids, after all. . In message , Patti in Seattle writes

My friend over on the goth group who raises llamas said that she gave up on alpacas because they some of the most nasty ill tempered creatures she has ever met, and they are terribly fragile insofar as illness and injury.
