freezer paper question

Yes, but I don't know the trick. I think it's something about sticking two sheets with + curve to fit in your printer, but not sure.

One trick that might help- cut a *stack* of say 8. Spot iron in the 4 corners so they stay together. Draw the pattern on top sheet. Now run this through the sewing machine without thread (best with a needle right before you change it). Now take the stack apart- ta da- you have 8 copies of the pattern, already punched.

Yes, I do it all the time for the quilted diamonds patterns. I just cut a piece of FP that will fit onto a regular piece of printer paper and then iron just about 1" of the top of the FP to the top of the PP. Send it through the printer with the ironed part first and it works just fine, curls and all. :)

Gosh - I don't do all that. I just send the freezer paper straight through the printer - laser and inkjet. Never knew that you weren't supposed to!

I bought a packet of printer ready freezer paper at a LQS. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it's just freezer paper cut to the right side.....and flat instead of having been rolled up.

All the time. I send a sheet through my ink jet (they don't get hot like laser printers) Works great as long as I put the paper in with the correct side up ;-)

A few years back I got lazy and started purchasing 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of it. Saves all the cutting of rolls.
