GAH!!!!!! I ruined my new fabric!!!

I put my new fabric that I bought while we were away into the washing machine, cold water, short wash. When the machine stopped, what I pulled out had big blue splotches or was covered with a sickly blue wash. All had been sweet light greens and one wonderful Valentines piece with red bunnies on a white background. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm washing it again with chlorine-free bleach and one of those dye catchers. I'm so crushed. I bought good, beautiful fabric and then ruined it. I have no idea what it was that turned everything horribly, ugly blue. Nothing turned up in my search of the washing machine. The load before was fine. Who knows. Maybe something stuck to a corner of one piece or ...... the ugly fairy visited my house.

This has never ever happened to me before. Is there hope? What can I do with ugly, murky, miserable $9.50 a yard fabric? Groan.

Well, Sunny, how revolting. My first thought would be a ball point pen in a pocket but new fabric doesn't have pens or pockets. Just what in the world? I just can't imagine. How just absolutely horrible. Do you want my list of bad words to use for 'some assembly required' bicycles and swing sets? Never mind. I'll say them for you. How AWFUL! Polly
