.......and this my friends is why I use a "faux" name and address in my newsgroup identity properties. Those groups are 'phished' by spammers among others. It's bad enough when we get junk in the NG. I don't want that in my personal email. Just remember that *anything* you put out on the internet is essentially public domain. Superfluous cries of outrage, personal ethics and useless whining about this situation are futile.

This might be a better way for some of our regulars to read the NG messages instead of Google.

If my ISP didn't carry newsgroups, this is how I would rather receive them.
