Thanks for the kind words.
Although many/most of my finished pieces deviate greatly from the original designs, I need those designs as a jumping off place. As I'm typing, I had an AHAH moment -- my situation is somewhat analagous (I'm into misspelled big words this morning) to that of a musician or musical arranger who uses her skills to interpret what someone else has composed.
