looking for a Debbi Mumm fabric

Hello everyone.

Been busy. Am still busy. I'm cross stitching like mad. Piecing quilt tops like crazy. And working too many hours seeing patients with the flu! And yeah right, I did not have enough on my plate, so my girls and I have started a dollhouse hobby. The house will be GORGEOUS once it gets done.

So, to the point: I saw, and bid on a delightful Debbie Mumm fabric on ebay. Unfortunately I was outbid. NOT good! I was wondering if anyone might have a scrap of this lying around unused somewhere and would be willing to part with it (name your price!). I don't need much; just enough to make a mini quilt for the dollhouse double bed. 8"x10" would be plenty I think.

Anyone?

^Please?

Thanks!

Claudia

can you tell us what the fabric looks like? or give us the eBay item # so we can see the picture? That would help us to know what we are looking for!

Now, Claudia -- it's a log cabin ... surely you could do it!

Just grab a tweezers and magnifying glass to work with those itty bitty logs! Let's see... 1/4 inch seams... so 1/2 inch in seams... so you cut the logs at what... .5/8"?

Seriously -- tho -- I'll check my stash but doesn't look familar to me... but then again -- I have fabric I haven't "looked at" in years! LOL

This looks VERY familiar to me. I am at work now and busy tonight. I'll check my stash in the morning. It will be good for me to have a distraction.

I think the 1/4 inch seam would be widser than the log itself!!!

of course, i do cross stich on 36 count fabric without glasses, so when I lose my mind completely (half way there already!) this would be just the thing to try!

Claudia,

I didn't find what you are looking for in my stash. I did find a couple of other options that you are welcome to. I have sent pictures to the posting address you use here. If there is a better one, I'll resend to that. Please let me know.

I may have some of this fabric or something similar, BUT it is in Canada, and I am in Florida until spring. If you email me off-list, I'll check when I return home. I'd ask my DS to look, but he'd never find it!

Howdy!

er...um... Rita? We'd all like to see pictures of your stash. Please. (Someone has her address, right?)

I've sent several Mumm's to Claudia, but this is not in my stash. Good luck!

I'd be happy to comply but at the moment I would need a full panorama capable camera. I was a bit zealous in my search and there are fabric piles "everywhere". Maybe next week...

Howdy!

Fire up the Stash Raider Mobile: Rita's gonna' show us What, maybe she'll include Where! ;-D

(just teasing about the stash pics, Rita; there may be too much snow or ice on the road for a real stash raid.. but maybe not...) Of course, if you want to send pics, great; we love to see!

Cheers! R/Sandy -- it's about to time to re-rootle my stash and make room for the later additions... No! I'm not taking pictures!
