Munchkin cabinet #3

Here is a link to the latest and last in the series of Munchkin cabinets. This one was necessitated by my movement of the Janome db from my sewing room, upstairs to the Quilt gallery. There really isn't any storage space up there for the various notions that go along with that particular machine. I had redone my sewing room and there was simply not any space that could accommodate the Janome so that created a need for the move and the particular cabinet you see here. When not being used, it is stored under the sewing table, and when used, it is rolled out and placed at the right hand side of the table and can be used as a small surface to lay the thread snips and seam ripper on for easy access. The wood used is White Oak, the same as the table top that houses the machine and the porcelain knobs are some I had from various projects in years gone by. The dimensions are: 22" h x 12" w x

12" d. the cute factor is present in this cabinet, and is consistent but not a copy of the look of the other cabinets in the series, as it is not being used along side them and therefore no comparison is possible.

Enjoy,

Truly cute! I'm really impressed with how quickly you're able to produce real live furniture. Like other people bake cakes, or something. Roberta in D

Nothing's so loving, as something from the; Basement workshop? I don't think that works. but thanks anyway.

Actually I have been sewing clothes for my wife, along with all this sawdust making. Not much quilting at all. As to sawdust. I have cut out the rough shape for a quilt rack for my chair area of the TV viewing room, to hold my winter quilt for those cold midwest winter viewing evenings. Beyond that, I have a couple of quilts on the drawing board, but nothing definite has been given a time slot. I though I should start off slow and then taper off.
