NAYY Sale- $5.00 yd. fabric!

I was looking for a good price on just very plain blue and found a good buy over at

"Leslie & The Furbabies in MO."

I don't see anything on the webpage, do you need to enter a code or anything, I'd be hesitant to order assuming things were that price without seeing something that indicates this is for any order, not just for previous customers or something.

Thanks for the heads up, Polly. I went to have a look and in the $3 section I found a fabric called "Hyde Park Gold Tapistry" - I've been planning a design which needs a dark gold and a light gold and when I saw this name, I couldn't resist, my first school was called "Hyde Park First School" and later on lived in a place called Hyde, which as you might expect had a Hyde Park! Neither of them are anything to do with the rather more famous Hyde Park in London, but it tickled me enough that it had to be bought - naturally I wouldn't want to waste anything spent on shipping, so I had to add to the order, I seem to be in green mode and found several nice looking greens in the sale.

Anne, I emailed them and just received a confirming email. It would have taken forever to update the web page and then re-update it for the second phase of the sale. Everything that Leslie says below is fact (and Leslie, I never doubted you for a minute. I just checked because Anne raised the question.)

If that's the motivation, then it really wouldn't be any more difficult to put a simple text message on the front page of the website. Sounds like she may get an awful lot of emails saying "I heard everything was $5 a yard, is it true...". Obviously changing the whole site so the check out adds up right is a lot more tricky and time consuming, but I do wonder how many people will get that email and check the site, see nothing and not buy, which is great if you're having a sale for the sake of customer loyalty, but not for inventory reduction.

Are you cutting it over at the neighbor's house, so you can fuzz up their house before they come home & they'll think little creatures were depositing fuzz while they were gone? Hope you find what you need while the sale is on Polly.
